What If Your Document is Not in the PSA Database?
If PSA returns "no record found" for your document:
- Check the local civil registrar (LCR) in the municipality where the event was registered
- Request a certified copy from the LCR, then have it submitted to PSA for late registration
- Late registration may require supporting documents (baptismal certificate, school records, etc.)
- For birth certificates: apply for delayed registration at the LCR with affidavits from parents/witnesses
